Wouldn’t it be easy to settle, to give up? We live in a world where we have confused snaps with stories. A snap is not your story. You need to know that the scene you’re in today is not your story. It’s not your destination. It’s just a layover on the way to your final destination. Don’t end the story just because you don’t like the scene. Sometimes we find our current scene is in the middle of a storm or on an island called Malta we never planned to visit. Your Malta might be sickness, disease, or a marriage problem; but just because you’re caught in the waiting room doesn’t mean your story ends there. God has prepared a place for you in the presence of your enemies. Your problems may be surrounding you, but our God is surrounding the problems that are surrounding you.
